Things to do in Antalya, picked by locals
Antalya is more than all-inclusive resorts. It's a 2,000-year-old harbour town with Roman gates, Ottoman lanes, cliff-top sunsets and some of Türkiye's best everyday food — if you know where to look.

Antalya travel questions, answered
When is the best time to visit Antalya?+
April–June and September–October are ideal: warm sea, sunny days and far fewer crowds. July and August are hot (often 35 °C and above) and busy, while winter is mild and quiet — great for the old town and ancient sites, less so for swimming.
How do I get from Antalya Airport to the old town?+
The easy budget option is the tram from Terminal 1 to the city centre, running until midnight — just tap your contactless debit or credit card, no transport card needed (landing at Terminal 2? a free shuttle takes you to Terminal 1). The Havaş airport bus is another option. If you'd like a driver waiting with your name, our trusted transfer partners offer private transfers at a fixed price — handy for groups of 3–6 with luggage.
